Mind & Body Mental Rehab is a privately owned Mental Health Practice, owned and operated by Margarita Perez, a Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. Mind & Body Mental Rehab's vision and determination is to create a world where mental health is a top priority, and every individual from any population and socioeconomic status can feel safe and comfortable in my sessions and have equal access to quality mental health care.
Mind & Body Mental rehab takes a holistic approach to mental health care and also provides medication when necessary, focusing not only on treating symptoms but also on addressing the underlying causes of your mental health struggles. I believe that the solution to an individual's mental health issues comes from within their own mind, body, and life story. Mind & Body Mental Rehab will help explore the root cause of your mental health struggles so that you will heal from the inside out and find peace of mind, body, and spirit.
Margarita Perez, Nurse Practitioner
I am a Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with extensive experience working in the healthcare field. I am Bilingual (Spanish/English) I began as a nurse assistant 15 years ago then enhanced my education to become a registered nurse and worked for 10 years as a community home health nurse, and skilled clinical nurse in various healthcare settings. The reason I wanted to study mental health is that I know firsthand what it is to struggle with Depression, PTSD, Anxiety, Suicidal Ideation, and Dissociation. I am an Adult Survivor of Child Abuse! My area of study right now is Trauma. I hold a certificate for providing Dialectal Behavior Therapy, studying to become certified in Trauma therapy and EMDR as a Clinical Trauma Specialist, and writing a book on how I became a SuRViVoR to ThRiVeR.

Mind & Body Mental Rehab offers a range of services, including Medication Management for various psychiatric disorders, Individual Psychotherapy, Holistic Treatment, and Genetic Testing. I offer Telepsychiatry Phone/Video and Home Visits for patients who prefer to receive care from the comfort of their own homes.
